Hello Friends,
Is it just us, or is this year absolutely flying by? It feels like just yesterday we were dusting off from the spring, and suddenly we are staring down the beautiful, sun-drenched peak of July. Summer is officially in full swing—bringing with it long days, backyard barbecues, and the perfect excuse to keep something refreshing on ice.
While the vines out in California are soaking up the sun and our newest vintages are quietly resting in the cellar, life here at Middle Oak is beautifully busy. Summer is our favorite time to pause and appreciate the hard work of the past few months before the excitement of the fall season begins. We hope you are finding plenty of moments to step away from the hustle, slow down, and pour something crisp.
There is nothing quite like the feeling of walking out of the blazing summer sun and into a cool, quiet tasting room with good company. So, grab a glass of something chilled (perhaps a certain pink vintage?), pull up a chair, and let’s catch up on everything that’s been happening around the winery!

Freshly Bottled!
Sealing the Next Vintage
We have major news from the cellar! Toward the end of May, we officially wrapped up our latest bottling session. It was an absolute whirlwind of a day—packed with non-stop hard work, high energy, and incredible teamwork—but tasting the final results made every single second worth it. We’ve officially locked away the next exceptional vintage, and we cannot wait to share these bottles with you. They are resting beautifully and getting ready for their grand debut.
A massive milestone like this takes a village, and we have some huge thank-yous to send out! A special shout-out goes to Meagan and Calli for completely holding down the fort and keeping the tasting room running beautifully so that I could spend the necessary time out in California. We also couldn't have done it without our ultimate "Super Support," Jared, who stepped in to capture the day by snapping some fantastic photos and videos to document all the hard work and joyful energy.
To wrap up an incredible trip, we even managed to mix business with a little pleasure. We spent some time visiting a few other amazing boutique wineries for inspiration, and capped it all off by heading to BottleRock Napa Valley for some well-deserved fun and incredible live music before heading back home.

Our New Summer Rhythm
To keep up with the busy pace of the season and make sure we’re giving every bottle (and visitor!) the care they deserve, we shifted our standard operating hours a bit back in May.
Come see us and enjoy a flight during our regular summer rhythm:

Thursday through Saturday: Open for pours, laughs, and regular tastings.

Wednesdays (and outside regular hours): Available by appointment only (perfect for a more private, tailored experience!). Because we use our off-days to catch up on cellar duties and behind-the-scenes work, appointments are subject to our weekly availability. We can't always guarantee a spot, but we will always do our best to get you on the calendar!

The Pour & The Palette:
A Creative Workshop
When: Saturday, August 8th, 2026 | 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Uncork your inner artist! Join us for a relaxed, creative afternoon where we pair our favorite small-batch wines with a guided fluid art workshop. Instead of a traditional canvas, you'll be creating your masterpiece directly onto a beautiful wooden board—perfect to take home and use for your future home gatherings (just note, we are decorating the board itself, not building the charcuterie!).
Whether you are an experienced creator or trying this for the very first time, this afternoon is all about enjoying the process, having fun, and trying something new. We provide the board, the fluid mediums, and—most importantly—the inspiration in your glass.
Registration Required: This is a private, ticketed event, and space is strictly limited to ensure a personalized experience for everyone. Grab your tickets and secure your spot ahead of time—we cannot accommodate walk-ins for this workshop!

Fall Release Party!

Where: B1895 Tavern
It might be the height of July, but we are already dreaming of crisp autumn evenings and grand celebrations! We are thrilled to officially announce that our Fall Release Party will once again be hosted at the beautiful B1895 Tavern.
We are bringing the whole crew together for an unforgettable evening of incredible wine, fantastic company, and the official unveiling of our newest releases. We are also actively working behind the scenes to see if our brilliant Head Winemaker, Rudy Zuidema, and his wonderful wife, Amy, will be able to make the trip down from California to celebrate the new vintage with us. Stay tuned for updates!

Space will be limited for this exclusive evening. Formal invitations will be heading to your inbox soon, but we want to make sure you have all the essential dates for the season marked down early!

September 7th: RSVP deadline for the release dinner AND the final deadline for your club shipment orders. (Note: After this date, any remaining dinner tickets will open to non-members, and special member pricing for the event may no longer be guaranteed.)

September 16th: Credit cards on file will be charged to secure your fall allocations.

October 5th: Fall club shipments officially begin rolling out of our warehouse.
